Vijay Falls Short In Defeating His Own Record

The highly anticipated first single from the gangster drama film “Leo,” featuring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, was released recently. Titled “Naa Ready,” the song has garnered immense attention and has already crossed 16.55 million views on YouTube within 24 hours. This achievement makes it one of the most viewed debut singles in Tamil Cinema.

Within its first day of release, “Naa Ready” also received over 1.6 million likes on YouTube. Notably, the song couldn’t surpass the record of Vijay’s popular dance number “Arabic Kuthu” from the film “Beast,” which gathered 2.2 million likes in 24 hours. However, an incredible feat is that Vijay holds the top five spots for the most liked Tamil film songs within the same time frame. The other songs dominating the list are “Jolly O Gymkhana” (1.5M), “Ranjithame” (1.3M), and “Beast Mode” (1.14M).

“Naa Ready” is a collaboration between Vijay and Anirudh Ravichander, who also composed the song. The film “Leo,” produced by SS Lalith Kumar, is set to release in theaters on October 19, coinciding with the festive season of Diwali.
