Sobhita Speaks About Her Past

Sobhita Dhulipala, a prominent Telugu actress, has gained a reputation for taking bold risks with her role choices. She never settles for playing a typical commercial heroine and always strives to leave a lasting impression on her audience. Despite her penchant for impactful roles, she is not averse to showcasing her glamorous side, as evidenced by her provocative photoshoots and steamy performances in films like the recently released web series, ‘Night Manager,’ in which she shares the screen with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

During a recent interview, Sobhita candidly revealed that she had been rejected by a shampoo company in the past for not being “pretty or appealing.” However, years later, she was hired as the brand ambassador for the same company, alongside the iconic Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, which she humbly described as a delightful experience.

Sobhita made her debut in the film industry with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Raman Raghav 2.0,’ and has since made a name for herself in the world of web series with her leading role in Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Made In Heaven’ and her appearance in Netflix’s ‘Bard of Blood.’ In addition to these accomplishments, she has also played the heroine in Adivi Sesh’s successful film, ‘Goodachari,’ and portrayed a pivotal role in ‘Major.’

Despite her impressive acting skills, Sobhita has recently been receiving criticism for her role in ‘The Night Manager.’ Some viewers have claimed that her character does not offer much beyond undressing and swimming. However, with upcoming episodes potentially offering more opportunities for her to showcase her acting prowess, only time will tell how her performance will be received.
