‘Salaar’ Theatrical Rights Sold For A Huge Price
Prabhas, the macho action star, has been the talk of the town since the massive success of ‘Baahubali 1 & 2’. While his recent pan-Indian projects like ‘Saaho’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ failed to meet expectations, his fans remain optimistic about his upcoming projects. Among them, ‘Salaar’ has set the bar high with its collaboration with the talented director Prasanth Neel, who wowed audiences with his work on ‘KGF – 2’. The anticipation for this film has reached new heights, and the recent stills from the set have only added to the excitement.
The latest buzz is that the theatrical rights for ‘Salaar’ in Andhra Pradesh alone are being valued at a staggering 100 crores. While the deal has yet to be confirmed, the willingness of buyers to pay such a hefty price for a single state, despite Prabhas’ recent flops, speaks volumes about his immense popularity.
Adding to the hype is the film’s talented cast and crew, including Shruti Hassan as the female lead, Ravi Basrur on music, and Homebale Films as the production company. With the likes of Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran also featuring in the film, ‘Salaar’ promises to be an action-packed blockbuster.
While fans eagerly await the release of ‘Adipurush’ in June, ‘Salaar’ is set to hit screens on September 28th. Prabhas also has other exciting projects in the works, including ‘Project K,’ ‘Raja Deluxe,’ and ‘Spirit’ with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Additionally, there are talks of a collaboration with director Siddharth Anand in 2024, with Mythri Movie Makers expected to produce the film.
With such an impressive lineup of projects, it’s no wonder Prabhas’ fans are eagerly anticipating his comeback. And with ‘Salaar’ shaping up to be a massive success, it looks like the star is well on his way to reclaiming his place at the top of the box office.
