‘Major’ First Day Collections

There is no stop to a good cinema and the entire universe pushes toward its success. Handsome and talented hero Adivi Sesh’s recent release ‘Major’ had a positive buzz right from the very beginning and people were highly impressed by its teaser. The movie’s unit held special screenings all across India even before the release and got a phenomenal response everywhere. The movie opened to packed houses in the Telugu states and it is getting good reception in other languages too. Adivi Sesh is overwhelmed with this response and he even officially posted that ‘Major’ collected 13.4 crores of gross box office collections worldwide. Interestingly, the entire pre-release business of ‘Major’ amounted to around 14 crores and the film almost reached the breakeven mark on its first day. By the end of its theatrical run, the film is going to become a highly profitable venture for everyone involved with it. Adivi Sesh himself stated that ‘Major’ openings were 5 times better than any film he did as a hero to date. It got a share of around 4.10 crores from the Telugu states itself and got around 2 crores from Thursday premieres in the USA. If the film shows steady improvement in the Hindi market too, there will be no stopping for ‘Major’ any time soon.
