Flop Yet Successful?

Aakanksha singh made her debut in telugu film industry with Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri’s first film Malli Raava and acted along side Akkineni Sumanth. Later on she shared the screen with Nagarjuna and Nani in the film Devadas which was a huge success at the box office, yet this film brought no luck to Aakanksha singh and she got no offers in tollywood. Therefore her search for offers ended up in the Kannada film industry. Aakanksha acted in a pan India film with Sudeep named as Pailwaan. Though the film came out in many languages across India, the film couldn’t do well in numbers at the box office. The movie released even in telugu, named as Pehlwaan. Despite the flop talk of the movie, Aakanksha got a lot of offers in Sandalwood. The issue here was that all the the male protagonists she had to act alongside were much older compared to her, but taking every project seriously and grasping every opportunity in the beginning is the only way to be successful in the film industry. And if she gets a few hits in the Kannada film industry, surely she will be asked for “Malli Raava” in the Telugu film industry.
